We have put up this page to help answer questions regarding the shipment of the latest released state quarter. We ship out the coins just as soon as humanly possible once the below has been accomplished.
1. It takes 2-3 weeks after the release date for us to receive the coins from the Federal Reserve.
2. We must wait for BOTH mints to arrive (Philadephia and Denver) before we can beginning shipments.
3. We then have to staple and prepare hundreds of thousands of coins for shipment.
4. Once we have done the above it takes another 1-10 days to package and ship all of the coins
5. Then you must allow another 3-5 days for the post office to deliver the package to you.
It is possible for your bank to have one mint of the coins before you receive them from us as we always have one mint approx. 2 weeks before the other comes in. This is common. The state of issue is also always the first to receive the coins, so it is possible for those of you in the surrounding states to see the coins in circulation before you receive them from us. Also, due to the extremely low cost of the individual state quarter subscription programs, ANY coin exchanges requested (including those due to the wrong mint being sent initially) will require the subscriber to first send the coin requested for replacement to us before a replacement will be sent back. Excepting only errors of mint mark shipped initially, round trip shipping will be the sole responsibility of the subscriber. Unfortunately, absolutely no exceptions may be made on this requirement.
